Northeastern migrant, Bahian, 43 years old, married, in São Paulo since the age of five, passionate about nature and a fan of sustainability and upcycling. In addition to being a visual artist, I work as a school director at the São Paulo State Department of Education, on the outskirts of the East Zone.

Based in São Paulo, I have a lot of gratitude for the state and I try to give back in the best way possible by replicating sustainability and technique. In addition to producing sculptures, I also make animations and always seek to learn new technologies to improve the creative process. I think that the technique does not obscure the form, nor the spectator's perception. Since 2005, I have been making sculptures with newspaper, after a trip to Embu das Artes, a peculiar and sometimes rebellious material, but with patience it gives shape to the most varied possibilities.
