Lucas Mesquita
Painting, painting, drawing
He began his pictorial experiences with notoriety when he was invited to participate in a collective visual arts exhibition, held by SESC.
“I always liked drawing, since I was little, in school notebooks, on the walls, anywhere that could be scribbled, with any object that could be scribbled.” For him, the public of his arts can see impactful images that sometimes seem to give a breath of reality to images from fables and sometimes seem to envelop them in a mist of magic and beauty. “I have a special affection for figures, romantic and bucolic themes. I like to take the viewer back to something timeless,” he reveals.
Mesquita, who currently has a studio in São Paulo, has works in several countries such as the USA, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Portugal and Japan.
